This page explains how to request deletion of your Texas Slammer account and what happens to your data.

How to Delete Your Account

To request deletion of your Texas Slammer account, follow the steps below inside the Texas Slammer portal. Account deletion is initiated from within the app — no email request is required.

    Log in to your account

    Visit portal.txslammer.com and sign in with your Texas Slammer credentials.

    Navigate to Settings

    Once logged in, open the Settings section from the navigation menu.

    Select “Delete Account”

    Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page and select Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm the action before your account is permanently removed.

What Data Is Deleted

When your account deletion request is confirmed, the following data is permanently removed from Texas Slammer's systems:

  • Account information: Your name, email address, and login credentials
  • Profile data: Any personal preferences and profile settings you have configured
  • Device associations: Links between your account and any registered trap or lift equipment
  • Notification settings: Phone numbers, alert preferences, and contact configurations
  • Usage history: Activity logs and session data tied to your account

Data That May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained after account deletion for the purposes described below:

  • Aggregated analytics: Anonymous, non-identifiable usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained to improve the platform.
  • Legal and compliance records: Records required by law or to resolve outstanding disputes may be retained for up to 7 years in accordance with applicable legal obligations.
  • Billing records: Transaction records may be retained for tax and accounting purposes for up to 7 years.

Retention Period

Your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your deletion request being confirmed. Backups containing your data will be purged within 90 days. Data retained for legal or compliance reasons will be held only for as long as required by law.

This action is irreversible

Once your Texas Slammer account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If you have active trap equipment, ensure you have recorded any device information you may need before proceeding.
